1. Who we are.
Bomart Integrated Services Limited ("Bomart", "we", "our") is a Nigerian limited liability company. Our registered legal address is Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Our operating headquarters is at Lekki, Lagos. For the purposes of NDPA, we are the Data Controller for personal data collected through bomartworld.com. Our Data Protection contact is info@bomartworld.com.
2. What personal data we collect.
We only collect personal data that you actively provide to us, in three specific situations:
- Quote & contact requests, when you submit the form on the Contact page or in the homepage CTA, we collect your name, email, phone number (optional), company name, the service you're interested in, and your message.
- Career applications, when you apply through the Careers page, we collect your name, email, phone number, the role you applied for, your preferred location, your message, and an optional CV file (PDF or Word).
- Anonymous analytics, we use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Plausible records aggregated, anonymous statistics: pages visited, country (not IP), referring URL, screen size, and browser type. No data is shared with advertising networks.
3. Why we collect it & legal basis.
We process your personal data on the basis of your explicit consent (when you submit a form) and our legitimate interest in operating, securing, and improving the bomartworld.com website. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, ever, under any circumstances.
- Quote and contact form data is used to respond to your request and, if applicable, to maintain a customer relationship.
- Career application data is reviewed by our hiring team. Unsuccessful applications are retained for up to six months in case other roles open up. After six months, applications are securely deleted unless you ask us to retain them longer.
- Analytics data is used to understand which pages are useful and where the site can improve. It is never linked to an individual.
4. Where your data lives.
Form submissions are stored by our hosting provider (Netlify, headquartered in San Francisco, USA, with EU data-residency options) and forwarded by email to Bomart's hiring team and operations leads (aa@bomartworld.com, info@bomartworld.com, phebeanogundapo@bomartworld.com). Both Netlify and our email infrastructure operate under standard contractual clauses for international data transfers. Plausible Analytics stores anonymous, aggregate data in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).
5. How long we keep it.
- Quote and contact submissions: up to 24 months from last interaction, then securely deleted.
- Career applications: up to 6 months from submission, then securely deleted (longer if you request).
- Analytics: aggregate, anonymous, retained per Plausible's defaults (no time limit on aggregate trends; no individual records exist).
6. Your rights.
Under both NDPA and GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access, ask what personal data we hold about you.
- Correct, ask us to fix any inaccuracies.
- Delete, ask us to delete your personal data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict processing, ask us to pause processing while a query is resolved.
- Object, object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Portability, receive a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent, at any time, with no questions asked.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@bomartworld.com. We respond within 14 working days. If we do not resolve your concern, you can lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) or your local EU supervisory authority.
7. Cookies & tracking.
bomartworld.com uses no advertising cookies, no marketing trackers, and no third-party cross-site tracking. We use one technical cookie set by our hosting provider for site security (anti-spam on forms). Plausible Analytics is cookie-free. There is therefore no cookie banner on this site beyond a minimal informational notice, you have nothing to consent to that you can opt out of, because we do not place opt-in cookies in the first place.
8. Children's privacy.
The Bomart website is intended for business and professional users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has submitted personal data through our site, please contact info@bomartworld.com and we will delete it.
9. Security.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, including HTTPS encryption across the entire site, secure form transmission, and access controls on stored submissions. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected individuals and the appropriate authority within 72 hours of becoming aware of any breach involving personal data, in line with NDPA and GDPR requirements.
10. Changes to this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
